Owner Tim Bayley, a graduate Engineer from the University of Canterbury spent 23 years overseas in Toronto, Canada operating his own successful restoration and renovation company. During this time he worked in conjunction with Toronto's leading wine accessory retailer The Wine Establishment, building custom cellars for some of Toronto's most discerning wine connoisseurs.

With Canadian wife Janet, they also run The Baywick Inn B&B.

At Baywick's we offer a free comprehensive design service... just send us a basic layout of your cellar space and the type of wines you would like to store and we will spec. the insulation, finish, cooling requirements and racking to create the ultimate cellar for your growing collection.
To keep track of what is in your cellar, we recommend Vinoté, a simple wine storage and inventory system, that links each bottle of stored wine to a data entry in a cellar book using bottle neck tags.
